For Joana hat a-la-Maria



This is the For Joana hat by Agata Smektala adapted by me...because I wanted to knit it in the round AND because I dislike ‘reading’ a chart.

I did follow the chart as much as possible, so my changes are relatively small and based only on adapting for knitting in the round as opposed to flat and having to sew a seam-yeah, I don’t like doing that as much as I dislike reading charts.

Here's the Doc for this. Once I do the flower I will include it with the pattern written out and any adjustments I make.

US 4 & US 6 dpn’s

Using US4 needles CO 100 sts
Join and place stitch marker
Knit in K2, P2 rib until measures about 1 inch or to your liking.
On the last round of your rib P2tog your final P2

You now have 99 sts
Switch to US6 needles
