Long time no Blog
I feel like it's been forever since I've been here and really been active with my knitting.
School is over and that is awesome.
So I am hoping to get my life back. I still have tons to do but this is something I have really missed. I hope to get back into it and start feeling normal again.
Here's what I've been doing. Still trying to finish up my Doc bag.
Here's where it stands.
It's actually a little further a long then this. I have started sewing the edges together and I pulled out my NEW sewing machine last night and set it up so I can sew assemble the lining. :)
I've purchased all the other things I need to finish it. I got dowels for the edges-which I still need to cut. I ordered handles from littleoddforest on Etsy. And since I signed up with Etsy, I think I'm going to start making stuff and selling it. I think it's a better way to make some extra money since I actually like crafting, etc. As opposed to teaching, which I only semi like.
I'll let you know how that goes. :) I always have grand ideas, but sometimes very little follow through.
Other then that, I can't think of anything else that's going on. I am working around the house. It's never fun, but my yard is starting to look MUCH better. I should have taken a couple of pics, I'll see if I cant find some 'before' ones. I had someone come out and just clean up a lot of the brush that has built up there. It's a great start and I'm glad I spent the money to have it done. It was definitely worth it for getting a start on a project I wasn't too jazzed about, but the new look is making me wanna keep going. Funny how that works.
Well, I think that's all for now.
OH but I am going to try the magic loop for knitting on circulars in the round. If anyone knows of a good tutorial (preferably video) I would be grateful!
