It's been so long since I've been here. I wish things would slow down a bit so I could get it all together and get back into a routine.
But I started teaching again so that seems to take up a lot of my time, even though I thought it would be easier since it's my second semester, but we changed some things around so I feel just as confused this semester as I did last. :)
Chris and I repainted my spare bedroom, I don't know if I talked about the mess that happened when I started painting my spare room this Dusty Rose color , but here it is semi in progress.
Look closely at the ceiling and around the outlet, you can see the pink. ICK!
And it now looks like this.
It looks even better now, because it's got doors on the closet and furniture. I'll try and remember to take a picture of it soon so you can see it completed. Look, there's even crown molding! Chris is so handy! :)
I have however been knitting!
So what have I knitted? Good question
A couple of dish clothes.
My Jan KAL
and the newly finished Feb KAL (same name) which is probably my favorite, which is not in pink or red as suggested, but yellow. Which, I think, represents love better.
And since it's been COLD! I knitted these mittens to match my neck warmer and the hat I've started like 6 times but hate everytime so I just rip-it. I should really finish it!
And these handies. So awesome! I wear them everyday at work cause out office is freezing.
What else can I tell you?
My birthday was about a week ago. So Chris and I spent this past weekend in Cincinnati to celebrate. It was great to get out of town for a while. Lots of friendship stress going on.
I am going to try and blog once a week. I think that's a good start to getting back into things.
Just like I'm going to start working out one day a week.
And I'm going to lose the 10 lbs I've gained recently.
I'm going to save $40 a month.
I'm going to keep my house more organized and clean.
Lots of things to do! I better go get started!
