What is this about? I got home last night from class, planning to just sit around, knit, relax and watch How I Met Your Mother, which I taped while being in class. But I get home and the VCR (yes, very retro, I know—I don't have cable, therefore no need for TIVO or anything fancy like that)...the VCR is still taping, why? Should have been done taping about 15 minutes before I got home. Well, I have the crappiest VCR, I can't stop it while it's timer taping, I can't just edit a taping schedule, I have to cancel it and start all over. But it does have some crappy little computer chip/program that lets it know when the time change is supposed to occur. UGG!
But for those of you who are effected by the Spring Forward, Fall Back time change you know Congress changed to date of time change to NEXT Sunday. But I guess I should looke forward to falling back next week and gaining an hours worth of sleep.
Anyway, a long story to tell you I just knitted and watched some Mr. Mom.
Here's my progress on the yoga bag. I wish I could have used my circular needles for this, but the wire is always too long and I would like to try magic loop (I think that's what it's called) but I haven't looked for instructions and I'm not sure I'd be able to figure it out with written instructions. Also would like to learn to do two socks on two circulars...does that sound like something that can be done? I think I heard/read that somewhere. Something to look into.
Tonight I have been getting ready for class tomorrow. I went out and bought some magazines along with just pulling some from around the house for critique and perusing tomorrow in class. I love the Garden & Gun magazine. Never heard of it before, had to purchase it, just for the name alone. I mean, in what world do gardens and guns go together? Someplace in the south? J/K!
Anyway, I think my students will get a kick out of it.
Well, that's about it for now, gonna get back to some knitting and planning.
