Cables smables!

I have tried about 3 times to make a dishcloth that I found from my yahoo KAL that is supposed to have 3 cables on it. I've never done cables, but it's not right! At least it doesn't seem right, I watched the video on how to do it on knittinghelp.com. Maybe it's the pattern. Does anyone have a pattern for a dishcloth with cables on it so I can try it again.
I can't get a good picture of it. But it just looks like I'm folding stitches over each other. It's not good. :(

NEW:
I Forgot to mention...I'm reading 3 books right now. I am trying to be very diplomatic about it. I read one chapter of one, then knit a couple of rows, read a chapter of another, knit...
But I have a feeling one is going to take a lead here soon.

I started rereading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire first, but that one is going to go by the wayside for a while.

Then on Saturday, while I was waiting in line to spend an exorbitant amount of money at the BMV I started reading The Shop on Blossom Street. I like it, cause it's about knitting and apparently it's part of a series, which I'm sure I will start reading.
I got it from BookMooch, if you don't mooch...you should! It's a great free community of people who just share books!

And of course I just purchased Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. Which I can't wait to finish, but they always take me some time. Somehow this weekend I managed to not hear much about the hype. Probably because I was in Michigan visiting friends and I had the best time hanging out with them and their adorable children.

Hey...who sticks out like a sour thumb in this group? :)
All the girls are so smart, sweet and adorable. I'm going to figure out something to make for each of them. I told Allison before I left how completely jealous I am of her life. I truly am.
